The public can lay flowers on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the first time in 100 years. The event is free and open to the public but registration is required if you would like to visit The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.  Arlington National Cemetery is holding a 2 day event on 11/9 and 11/10, called “The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Centennial Commemoration Public Flower Ceremony.”  You will be able to walk directly next to the tomb for the first time in decades. Our family visited The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier a few years ago.  Visiting Arlington changed our lives.
