Good luck to those who are competing in the 2016 Invictus Games. Wounded warriors from around the world compete in Paralympic style events. The Games were created by Prince Harry of Great Britain and are being hosted in Orlando, Florida this year. The word Invictus means “unconquered” and Prince Harry chose this as a way to describe these Service members. He was inspired to create the Invictus Games after visiting the Warrior Games in the United States and realizing the impact of sports on the wounded veterans. Former President George W. Bush will be the honorary chairperson of this year’s Games. The Games are taking place from May 8, 2016 (today) up until May 12, 2016 (this Thursday).
