Saturday was #nationaldogday. National Dog Day honors family dogs and dogs that work selflessly to save lives, keep us safe and bring comfort. One of the many programs the USO provides is the Canine Program. The program provides therapy dogs at the USO centers so when service members have a long day navigating the stresses of military service, they know they can come to the centers and find that missing piece of their home lives. These remarkable dogs are just the ticket to release the pressures of military life. This is just one more reason we are walking to support military families and raise money for the USO (a non-government agency). Please share our story and make a donation if you can.
