Friday marked the date in which the Declaration of Independence was ratified just over 2 centuries ago. This historic day stated that the colonies were no longer colonies, that they were self-governing civilized states.
I celebrated with my family by having a barbeque for this 4th. However, the military and their families often don’t get to enjoy this luxury with each other. Yet they sacrifice the most and therefore DESERVE it the most. We wouldn’t be free without these HEROES. On all patriotic days and every day remember:
SEE A SOLDIER—THANK A SOLDIER
