Callaghan Elementary School in Covington, VA is not only saying the 3 Holidays Announcement, but Principal Nancy Moga has also created a program using blue, red, and gold stars. She asked the parents and the school community to cut out a blue star for active duty, red for retired, and gold for those who were killed in battle. They also put the names of relatives on the stars so that they can be honored during the month of November.
