Did you know that there are 1.88 million Military Children? Wow! That is a huge number of young lives that are impacted by Service to Our Nation. April is National Military Child Month. Did you know that 1,177,972 children are the sons and daughters of Active Duty Service Members? Did you know that there are 716,879 children that are the sons and daughters of Reserve Component Service Members? Did you know that these children may have to move about 9 times during a school career? This is 3 times the amount of moves that a civilian family makes. During Military Child Month we must serve the kids who serve.
Remember, you can serve these families any time of the year, not just during Military Child Month. It is also National Volunteer Month. Please volunteer for those who sacrifice for us every single day.
