Please watch this 60 Minutes episode about Gold Star Families. Not once did I hear these families mention anyone who supports them outside the realm of “Blue Star, Gold Star, or soldier”. This must change. Please, knock on your neighbor’s door. Let them tell you about their loved one. You will be able to know that someone’s life may have been changed because of your small act of kindness.
