Thank you to everyone who read my blogs over the past three years! Today is the third anniversary of our blog program. When we first opened up the blog, I was so excited. I have the same enthusiasm that I had three years ago. I have so many people to thank for supporting me. I’ll keep it brief. Thank you to Minuteman Press for printing the star decals. Thank you to Mayor Noam Bramson for including me in his Memorial Day 2011 speech and nominating me for the New York Life Youth Leader Award in 2012. Now I have all these friends at Volunteer New York! Thank you to Principal Franco J. Miele at William B. Ward and Principal John Barnes at ALMS for believing in me. Thank you to Westchester County Legislator James Maisano for your early and continued support. Thank you to Elizabeth Tatarka for taking my idea seriously when I was a 3rd grader. Thank you to Audrey Kurlan-Marcy for designing our new business cards. Thank you to Leslie B. for designing the website. Thank you to anyone who ever purchased a star and made the $10 donation to the programs of the USO. Thank you to the USO for partnering with me. Thank you to any local business for selling the stars. Thank you to the more than 100 school across NYS who read the “3 Holidays Announcement” on Patriot Day, Veterans Day, and Memorial Day.
Thank you to the “Blue Star” and “Gold Star” Military Families everywhere. A special thank you to the family of Michael A. Arciola, Private First Class, United States Army. I dedicated this website three years ago in his honor. Please remember that he died while serving Our Nation at age 20.
